From a motel in San Jose on the weekend after I graduated from Job Corps. Gorgeous 18-year-old Loki was gorgeous <3
From Slab City. The first picture took place in our tent. Loki looks adorable first thing in the morning <3 The second picture took place by our forge, when Loki officially proposed marriage to me. It looks like it's summer, but this actually took place in February; we got married in early March.
The "Permanent Autonomous Zone" in Fruit\/ale / Oakland. Loki took this picture when walking to or from a motel my sister's husband booked for him (didn't work out because he doesn't ha\/e ID). Loki described this picture as a "mini-Slab City".
Back in San Jose. The first picture was a picture we sent to "Cody" so he'd know who he was hiring. The second picture is to compare 19-year-old Loki's body to 18-year-old Loki; I'm sort of tracking his progress through the years. (We met when he was 17, but for ob\/ious reasons, there aren't any body comparison pictures from then on this blog.) Third picture is Loki crashing and watching the telly while Curry Bear snuggles up against his butt.
Let me tell you about my cats, \/ali (black) and Nar\/i (white, female). They're adorably snuggly together.
\/ali has his own teddy bear...
...which Nar\/i likes to steal. The mother cat is Bodie, judging me while she eats her food.
Loki asked me to gi\/e \/ali pettings for him, but then \/ali woke up and glared at me.
This one breaks my heart. It's from just before we left San Jose, and they knew it. \/ali threw a tantrum e\/ery time I was near him-- would come up to me, demand pettings, then bite or scratch me, then walk off and meow at nothing. So I'd call him back and he'd come back o\/er and demand pettings again, then walk off like "fuck you", etc. Nar\/i, who is shy, had just gotten to the point where she'd let me pet her hind paws and her sides, but didn't want a thing to do with me. And of course, we ha\/e Bodie judging me \/ery fucking hard, but she let me take the picture without running off. Ob\/iously, I didn't go near them when this was taken; it's zoomed in. I miss my babies and because reasons, I can ne\/er actually return to them.
Preparing to lea\/e San Jose. I'd been toying with the idea of keeping my tra\/el braids under a wig, but when we tossed out miscellaneous items to be shipped to my e><, the wig was pretty much the first thing to go.
